The Latin for Teachers course provides more than 16 hours of professional Latin training for new and intermediate Latin educators. Karen Moore, co-author of the Latin Alive! series, author of the Latin for Children History Readers, and accomplished Latin educator, provides a bird’s-eye view of the Latin language and covers the contents of all three Latin for Children primers. If you would like to be better equipped to teach Latin or are looking for guidance and fresh ideas for teaching upper-elementary students, you will be delighted by Karen’s clear and enthusiastic instruction. The course includes the DVD set and a 110-page binder/notebook.
This DVD course would be ideal for training multiple Latin teachers, tutors, or parents in a school or co-op. Each participant, with the exception of spouses, needs his or her own course notebook, which can be purchased separately.
Karen Moore is the lead author for the Latin Alive! series. She began her study of Latin in 7th grade and added Greek to her linguistic studies during her college years. Currently, she serves as the academic dean and teaches advanced Latin at Grace Academy, a classical Christian school in Georgetown, Texas.
