Wonder to Wisdom
Chris Perrin explains that wonder begins as astonishment, exposes our ignorance, and makes us hungry to know, while wisdom grows through time and lived experience. He argues that literature, fiction, poetry, history, philosophy, and theology let us “time travel” through other human lives, naming The Brothers Karamazov, The Odyssey, A Tale of Two Cities, the Old and New Testament, and Walt Whitman. The reflective, educational message shows how the “Wonder to Wisdom” path can reveal both the human heart and our own.
