Erin Davis-Valdez, Author
Erin Davis Valdez is the oldest of four sisters, all of whom were homeschooled from kindergarten through high school. Erin earned a bachelor of arts in classical studies from Hillsdale College and a master of arts in classics from University of California, Santa Barbara. From 2004 to 2015, she taught Latin, Greek, and classical civilizations in private and charter schools in the Austin and Dallas areas, and also founded a tutoring and consulting business. She has worked in education philanthropy and policy since 2015. Erin’s hobbies include cooking, listening to podcasts, and walking her dog, Buckley. Her favorite author is P.G. Wodehouse, and her favorite swimming hole is Hamilton Pool. She lives in Texas with her husband, Jeremy.

Edward J. Kotynski grew up as a missionary kid in Indonesia, where his parents were Bible translators. He attributes his love of languages partly to his childhood experience. After receiving his BA in ancient languages from Wheaton College and his MA in classical languages from Vanderbilt University, Eddie has taught Latin and Greek since 2010, mostly at classical Christian schools. In addition to co-authoring the Greek for Children series, he has edited two volumes of Latin Alive! for Classical Academic Press. Eddie drinks coffee, loves reading, helps homeschool his kids, and plays board games. He lives with his wife, children, and cats, enjoying the craziness of life together.
