Jesse Hake
Jesse Hake holds a BA in history from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania and a Master of Letters in history from the University of St Andrews in Scotland. He began his career as college adjunct professor and high school teacher before moving into classical education as an upper school teacher in history, literature, theology, and rhetoric for Covenant Christian Academy in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. During this time, Jesse presented at the Society for Classical Learning at two of their national conferences. He served as academic dean and principal at Logos Academy in York, Pennsylvania for seven years before moving to work for Classical Academic Press full time in 2019. Jesse is currently the director at ClassicalU.com and the TrueNorth.fm podcast network as well as board secretary for the Alcuin Fellowship. In his work with Classical Academic Press, Jesse has also written the Publisher’s Note at the start of A New Natural Philosophy: Recovering a Natural Science and Christian Pedagogy by Ravi Scott Jain, Chris Hall, and Robbie Andreasen as well as The Black Intellectual Tradition: Reading Freedom in Classical Literature by Dr. Anika T.
